Tourism and leisure industry is regarded as by the government the no chimney industry prioritize plan in Taiwan. Therefore, the Government  strategic industry sector in? “ 2008 tourists to multiply plan “ will become the tourism a big goal.The skill manpower of the tourism and leisure industry is therefore expected to be very needed. In accordance to this trend, the College of Tourism (TM) , aiming to cultivate qualified managerial personnel for this industry.

Our teaching mission is to educate the students with skills and knowledge in the development of duty field skill and management of tourism industry, especially in physical planning and developing of duty field skill.

The Department offers professional courses in two areas: one is for building up the skills in planning and developing of the duty field skill; the other is for educating the managerial knowledge of tourism industry. The students can select the area of study and develop their own expertise according to their interest in this career. Our education combines theory and practice together, therefore in addition to normal classroom teaching, field trips and visits are widely used to enforce the teaching effort.
